Presentation of AIS Charleroi Logement
Agence Immobilière Sociale (AIS) Charleroi Logement, approved and subsidized by the Walloon Region since 1994, is a non-profit organization that acts as an intermediary between landlords (public or private) and prospective tenants on precarious or modest incomes. It manages on behalf of third parties, with the aim of providing access to decent, low-cost housing.
AIS Charleroi Logement operates in Charleroi and its 15 communes. We have a simple but essential mission: to open doors to quality housing for those who need it. This mission is based on two main objectives:
- Offering a decent roof over the heads of households on modest or precarious incomes, and providing them with attentive technical and social support. Because we’re convinced that housing is much more than a roof over one’s head: it’s a starting point for getting back on one’s feet.
- Create a real partnership with private owners, so that they too can become involved in a meaningful project, while renting out their property with complete peace of mind.
